Online website to get a guide for Australian motorbike prices?

    Hello Guys,

I am investigating whats around and what prices are brand new. But I generally haven't found a good source for checking Australian bike prices.

A dealer was selling a Ninja 250R brand new for $8000 on tradingpost.com.au, whilst someone on a forum mentioned $7400 drive away. So I take it this is the price to expect in Australia? Would prices differ much from state to state?

I was originally thinking a trial / enduro type bike (around 250cc), but recently went into a shop that they started at $6500 and there was a CBR125 in there for $4000, so it got me interested in the sports bikes.

Grew up in the country riding gutless 80cc bikes, so I think even the CBR125 would scare me at first

But I'd probably soon get used to it, and maybe was thinking that the extra power in a Ninja 250 might actually be a safety benefit if you needed to accerate out of a tight spot?

Try Redbook. They also value bikes. Only used not new though!
But they do have the new bike prices as new also.

well if we want to get nit picky, you can have intranet websites that run on a local network, and you could argue I was refering to the website being on the internet

although, maybe you'd just call them intranet sites.. meh anyways

*edit: by the way, thanks for that website Courts
investigating the possibility of getting my motorbike licence and maybe a Ninja 250R
