so its time to tidy up the 250 and move it on (over time actually)
so quick story
Got R-E same time as ex gf... she bought a new ninja, I bought a 92 Suzuki Katana. (loved it and it was faster!! 40hp to her 35)
a week or so into riding, we line up at the lights (nothing like overconfidence) lights go green, she bolts off into the distance, I have just a little? too much throttle on as I drop the clutch and my nice shiny bike is all of a sudden pointing skywards... being the overly experienced rider I was at this point, I politely S$1T myself, close the throttle, come down hard and proceed to drop it fair in the middle of the intersection. (with all the people in cages prob thinking I was trying to show off and stuffed a wheelie)
end result was the usual busted clutch lever/indicator etc, all fixed, but I put the bar end into the tank. (pics attached)
the bike is a bit of a collectible, other then my impromptu tank mod, its all pretty much original (even the orig 4->1 exhaust) so its worth a few $$ for its age.
so questions.
1: who would you recommend to take it to for a quote/repair
2: any guesses as to what sort of $$ ill be looking at?
