    Post up your GoPro Videos!

Since most have thier cameras arriving now from the GB figured would be a cool to have a place for all the footage.

    Will start the collection with

This is a camera test run on my TTR 250 I bought recently. Yes it's my first dirt bike and I am a noob so have a laugh at 1:38 where I fail to negotiate a corner and at 5:44 where I nearly park it in the bushes. The pros will probably shake their heads at my porpoising.

Settings I have used are R4 - 960p @ 30fps which apparently is max view, non-waterproof door (open back) for sound <100mph,

I took some footage on a country run today on the R5 setting, waterproof door for sound >100mph which turned out ok

I shouldnt laugh because on a dirt bike I'd probably fall off going straight but man that was piss funny, good stuff.

Had a bit of a play yesterday with some success. Going to head out and try again today.

Ive put a mount on the chain side of my swingarm. It works quite well except there is a shitload of chain noise. Does anyone else get this? I havent tried using the waterproof door yet so Ill see if that alleviates it at all.

heres a little compilation i did from a trackday ages ago...tried the gopro in a coupla different positions and sticked bits of footage together.

the sounds was ok before i put the music on...considering how much wind noise there was.

I posted this up in another thread specific to the ride but here it is for you guys..

Setting were R5 1080p @ 30fps, waterproof door (closed back). Trouble I had with this recording was twice during the ride the bumps managed to point the camera towards the road (edited out) even though I thought I had the screw pretty tight. The other thing was after a lunch break I swear it was recording (red light and numbers flashing) but during that leg the battery went flat and I haven't been able to get any of that footage from the memory card.. thoughts?

@ Al try using the waterproof door - better sound IMO above certain speeds. In my first vid you hear the sound gets distorted at speed where as the second vid doesn't (even though we are doing the speed limit promise)

My mind wasn't made up at all, it went from 'please turn in' to 'oh shit!' to 'this will look good on youtube'

I went over it skewed and it got hung up on the bash plate - no traction

    some random road in catalunya...

the case seems to get fogged up my mountain mist... (i kinda sent the bike off a cliff not long after this, stupid paniers/exhaust touching down causing backend to lose contact)

    ure welcome mate,

Ya i've had a few issues with fogging also, you can buy anti fog strips that absorb the moisture for a few dollars. Or use the backing that has the vents cut into it, assuming its not raining of course.

I'm just about to order the chest harness (better view for dirt biking hopefully) and the roll bar mount (going to try it on one of the oggy knobs, not keen to permanently stick any more mounts to my fairings and not so sure about the suction mount on the tank - I've got a really dark screen anyway) so will play around with that and post up test clips soon

Ok flew home this morning to a package from Launch waiting for me..

    chest mount kit

roll bar mount kit adapted to crash knob. It's very secure but will probably add in fishing line tied off for safety

test footage to come probably after the weekend

Ripped it out of the box, wacked on the side of car in 2 seconds flat, and a short lap around the block to see how it went.

In short, what a great bit of kit, simple, rock solid suction mount, dont need to plug anything into it. Great.

Look forward to testing on the bike/s.

Had a quick play with the new toy in the hills last week.

Stuck the cam to the helmet just with the suction cup for this one.

Will post my other video when it finally uploads.

Hope you guys don't mind, I thought I'd post up some video from the helmet cam I just received. I't's not a Go-Pro, it probably doesn't even rate being the poor cousin of a Go-Pro, but it only cost me $1.17 plus shipping so I'm not complaining.

I'll be interested to hear what you think of it.
