Prices In Japan
Im heading to Japan in sept but I have a mate in the US now who can be my shopper, does anyone know if Japan is cheaper? the big 4 come from here so you would assume that stuff and parts are fairly cheap.
Has anyone been or does anyone speak Japanese and can have a look online?
Thanks

Bikes themselves are quite a bit cheaper.
Accessories in general are slightly cheaper.
Electronic gear is much the same.
Laptops I found were around 20% cheaper with some bargaining.
Depends what you want, where you go, how you deal with the salesman, etc..etc...
Japan isn't a mecca of cheap bike goods in general though.

Japan has a fucking massive bike market too. Large scooters seem just as popular as bikes too.
Can't wait to get back there... thinking if we ever spend a large amount of time there I'll be picking up a nice shiny Honda.

I was quoted $850 for a new ZX6RR radiator inc freight direct from Japan; locally Kawasaki wanted almost $2k
