    Problem?

Well some one from PSB told me about this online shop http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com I love how the shop works and how its so ezy to find what your looking for. All of the bikes are listed for you. All you need to do is click on the right submenu.

So after looking at the site all day I was happy to start moding my bike. I got Hotbodies Racing LED Turn Signals Yamaha YZF-R6/S 03-11
(Smoke Lens) Hotbodies Racing LED Turn Signals Yamaha YZF-R6/S 03-11 from SportbikeTrackGear.com They look nice and I have to start some where.

Now I did the Payment Form and I was going to pay it with my credit card. Then there was an error. It was just an error code I did not know what the code was... So I was like maybe I put in the wrong numbers so I tryed it ones more and same thing error. Now as im looking at the payment options I see paypall so im like cool! It all looks good for about 20mins....

I was doing my online banking and I look at my acct and they have withdraw my money 3 times now... 2 times as there was a error on the credit card and 1s for the paypal.

I never did any online shoping ever in my life so I have emaild them telling them of my problem. Im asking for a credit on the rest of the money that will be $62.70aus. Do you guys think I will have any problems with this? Also this has put me off shoping online. Any of you have any problems like this before.

So have you called your bank and asked them about it?? If they have the same amount for PayPal then it's only the 2 Credit Card ones you need cancelling.

Have you contacted the seller, that's the logical first thing to do.

Happens all the time, don't stress, you will get refunded.
In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.

Well I have not called up my bank yet. As the money has been sent can the bank even do anything about it. Im happy for them to just give me a store credit as I will be happy to use the shop again. I also did not pay for the $30 US as this is an international orders. So in the email to them I told them to pay that $30 fee and give me a credit on the rest and $62

Never had any problems, if it is a legitimate site, which it looks like it is, you should be fine. Or at least get an instore credit.

Sportbiketrackgear has issues with overseas cards, I think because their EFTPOS system isn't properly set up for online transactions. What seems to happen is that when you give them your credit card details, it goes through as if your card were being physically swiped in Michigan, which then freaks out your bank. My girlfriend tried to buy me some gear from STG for my birthday and the transaction failed. She then she got a call from the bank to say someone was trying to use her card in the US. Annoyingly the funds were then frozen for a few days while the bank went through their reversal procedure.

Best thing to do is just to call or email them, they're very helpful to deal with and know how to work around the problem.

I've had the same thing with them. Westpac were a bunch of retards to work with and I had to go through a lot of hoops to get the money unfrozen. The STG guys were helpful throughout the process. The problem was that Westpac needed the vendor to cancel the order in order to give you your money back, but because the sale didn't go through properly on the vendor's side, they don't have an order to cancel. I think I ended up needing the STG guys to make up an order form, then print cancelled on it, then email that to Westpac.

I just avoid the drama and use paypal now (you can still do it through the same card).

When you're shopping for stuff in the US, be aware that they continued to sell the 03-05 R6 alongside the new 06-onward for a few more years, as the R6S (the s is for sux (actually, it's for street)). Your indicators look like they're for both though.

I went through this probably about a year ago (or maybe more), so maybe they have sorted out how to deal with it better now. But at the time, yes, I spent a lot of time on the phone to Westpac.

Wait and see what the STG guys say first, though.

Ah ok good point. If the money did go throw to them then they can just give me a store credit and I don't have to sit on the phone to westpac.

I have tried the same before and got the error, but never heard anything else of it. I don't remember whether they charged me twice and refunded one or whether they didn't charge me at all. That was also with Westpac, but used to be a Virgin credit card before Westpac took over the card and it became a Westpac one (not sure if that matters).

That doesn't surprise me. They are hands down the most incompetent people I have ever had to deal with.

Your indicators must be 300mm apart in Australia, which is why you often see indicators out on stalks on the AU model when the picture of the overseas model in the brochure was all clean lines. With some of the aftermarket integrated signals you might as well not indicate at all. All people can tell is that there is a flashing yellow light in the centre for some reason.

Yes you could get a yellow for that, but you can also get one for the flush mounts.

NAB are good with this stuff.

Those purchases should be just sitting there as 'Purchase Authorisation' anyways which means technically the money has been taken out yet, just 'reserved'. The bank or the retailer should be able to cancel it no problem at all.

I've had the same with Sportbike track gear, also with Westpac. I emailed them and they resolved it with no issues - their customer service is excellent. I didn't have to call the bank either. IIRC I just paid with a different method and they cancelled the credit card transactions that failed which returned the money to my card.
