Not sure why they would want to knab you on your Duc if you are displaying an L plate and are riding with a shadow????

It's going to take awhile for a lot of people to get used to the changes, but heh if you're worried just got get your bit of paper, you'll need it one day anyway

A few constables have bad history with my boss, for whom I regular at his notorious yard. This yard is, as I mentioned earlier, under the ever watchful eye of the law. I've been targeted before (not harrassed as such, but certainly if I was "nobody" I would have been left alone) due to my association.

Anyways I'm not comfortable talking about the whole thing.

Stoney, you're spot on though! Getting my piece of paper is the best bet. Like you said, I'll need it at some point. Especially once I'm set for my test in 11 months... >_>

Alrighy, just got my R-class learner's permit on Monday. I rang the midland police station and after much confusion they came to the conclusion that you definitely still need a piece of paper as proof. Obviously the good ol' learner's permit. Plus you still gotta show your L plates.

So ~$75 or so and I got me a permit from the Midland Licencing Center. The local cops hadn't heard of any changes to the law or whatever.

At least I've got it now. All sussed!

Yep.. its a mess. I rang up licensing yesterday. The girl on the phone said my permit had expired and i had to come back in.... WHAT! I just paid for a test and asked for a R class permit of which i was told there was a new system. She said mmmmmm. Then put me on hold. Then came back and said it was all ok.

Everyone is confussed.... including me and my instructor. haha
