Purchasing parts from Bike Bandit

Hey guys I want to know if anyone has made any purchases from Motorcycle Parts, Motorcycle Accessories by BikeBandit.com, the reason I is that i am going to make a purchase and they will be charging me tax and duty as a seperate cost to the parts, does this i mean i wont be charged tax when it comes to Australia or is it American taxes, please note there is no gst excluded type footnote on the prices of the parts.

Sounds dodgy to me. Payment of Tax and Duty is always the responsibility of the receiver. Because you are an overseas customer they shouldnt be charging you any state taxes they have.

having jsut got in contact with them via there live chat help....really cool and easy. they pay the taxes for the country the parts are going to. so when they arrive i will have to pay nothing.

Myself, I would be very wary of a company that says they are going to pay the charges on an item to another country when those charges have not yet been assessed BY that other country.

From the supplier you should be liable for item + shipping only

At this end whatever customs dutys IF applicable.
