Yes
No
I love two strokes. Because they annoy the shit out of people.

Long story short, because my accident was 50m from my house and it wasn't towed, they didn't bother to investigate, even though it was subsequently written off.
Lazy.
My nemesis; Barfridge
In an interview with the New Scientist magazine marking his birthday, Stephen Hawking was asked what he thought about most during the day, and replied: "Women. They are a complete mystery."
Amen, brother. Amen.
That's what they said about mine, too.
If you're in an accident - GET IT TOWED!!!
The words used to explain this rule to me was, if you didn't get it towed, then the condition of the bike can't have been that bad. Whether it was walking distance from your house or not.
Car pulled out in front of me. T-boned right in the middle of the car and flew over the back end of it. I rode the bike home, filed a police report. 2 months later they decided they were not going to investigate it because there was not enough damage and not enough injury.
Lets see written off bike and 2.5k damage to cage + bruised balls is not enough... ok then.
Their insurance company eventually paid for my bike though.
I've been told that if you are in a crash and want the police/ambulance to attend you should just remain on the ground and don't do anything other than get witnesses and driver details. Then wait for ambo and cops.
Should be sorted then and there - instead of having to go out and fill a police report and do it all some other day.
Would be good if someone can confirm though.
IN THRUST WE TRUST
THIS SH!T IS REAL!
Accident 22/12/72
Approx 10pm State Highway one NZ.
Car did a U turn across four lane highway and impact speed was 80kph.
Driver moved his car then lied about its location at point of impact. Did not even help me.
I lay on road in darkness and I was able to throw my helmet up the road to try and give the approaching car some warning I could not move out of his/her path.
Attending cop went to same church as the family of the young driver, no guesses which one there.
Drivers Family owned large businesses in small town.
His Dad was JP who sat on the bench in the local court.
Dad wrote out the evidence for son and friend in passenger seat to memorise for court. (A friend of our family was secretary to the Dad and did the typing for this corrupt piece of sh...t).
A friend of both families stopped after crash and said that other driver stunk of alcohol but no breath test taken!!
Both lied in court and this was exposed in cross examination.
End result.
Cop said I know family I will charge with minor offence of careless driving, they will plead guilty instead of careless causing injury!! He pleads not guilty.
Magistrate tells him. You nearly killed the motorcyclist!!!
I dint want to fine you as only young so court costs of $5-00 and I would not like to take your licence away as work after school!!! FOR HIS DAD!!
So richest family in town dont have to pay anything.
ME off work 5 mths, lost new bike only 5 weeks old, lost careeer on Navy due to injuries.
Nothing has changed.
Dont run into well connected family in small town, oh did I mention is Uncle was previous Mayor.
When I could ride again five months later these two tried to make me crash again. Passenger was driving and the other person now in passenger seat, I was behind them. Saw it was me and kept slamming brakes on hard. Mum and Dad took the axe off me and physically stopped me taking out proper justice.

It was late night shopping for Christmas and yes pubs close at 10pm then.
I did get into Airforce but left and became Traffic Cop in that town. (Navy wanted me to have operation on Knees and the specialist thought I would probably never be able to bend my knees again so I opted out and just fall over now and again.) Have permanent nerve damage there.
This familys influence saw the reporter from local paper walk out at beginning of trail and the only case not covered! Dad complained and a very small bit put in paper which made it sound he was not at fault.
Last time I went to NZ was 1984 and the lying passenger in the car had their stud farm featured in the Air NZ in flight magazine.
The insurance company didnt just repair his car, a complimentary complete respray as well. His Uncle ran the Ford Dealership and owned all shops in one of main streets.
People were surprised we even got a conviction against that lot.

I got side swiped a few years back in peak hour traffic by a young female P plater who decided to change lanes without checking anything but her interior rear vision mirror (wtf) and didnt bother to indicate either.
Although traffic was moving at 80 kms hour, at the speed she swung across I had no time to avoid her.
I had a heap of witnesses luckily and the police attended and I got a ride in the ambulance so I dont know if that made any difference to it but she was charged with dangerous driving.
