    Rac ard

I can't praise Brian & Terry enough for a great day. Fun informative no pressure and confidence building and NO CARS (but lots of duck poo). Just do it.

What were the gear requirements for the day?

When you register you get an email which details what you MUST have far as safety gear ie eye wear, jacket with armour, reinforced jeans, safety boots, safety gloves, helmet etc. One guy wore sneakers, normal jeans a moderately armoured jacket. A lot of the guys had the full leathers and boots etc I had dragens, riding boots and leather jacket. I think ultimately they want everyone safe but don't push it. (they do a pre start tyre check). You also have to sign an indemnity releasing them from all responsibility if you get hurt.

The first session includes a theory session doesn't it? How long does it take and is it uncomfortable sitting in a classroom wearing full leathers?

I will be looking to do this in September when the wetter months have passed!

It isn't that uncomfortable. From memory I think total classroom time under 2 hours. I did it in summer so we were glad to be out of the sun and in the aircon.
There is a Red Rooster or some other chicken fast food joint just outside so lunch is a breeze.

Ah ok cool, i have everything (leather jacket, gauntlet gloves, sidi boots) but just not reinforced pants, i guess i could get away with just my jeans then.
