Rossi for President?

Valentino Rossi has been named the honorary president of AGV. The soon to be eight times world champion is credited with bringing worldwide attention to his long-time sponsor, dragging it out of a period of mediocrity, both in product and in sales. Lino Dainese, founder and president of the company that both bears his name and owns AGV said, “Valentino Rossi has been the thread — or rather, the steel cable — that has managed to keep AGV connected with motorcycle racing at times when this historic firm had lost that particular verve and freshness which, from its outset, had made it become a world leader in the manufacture of crash helmets.
