    Thumbs up S1000rr first 500klm

Three weeks on the new bike and have to say extreamly impressed. Took the route out to York weekend before last with my bro on his Busa. Great ride which involved some nice twisties around York and also the tight stuff back through Mundairing through to Kalamunda. Sad to hear that a fellow rider lost his life on that same stretch the day after RIP.

So far no complaints apart from no fuel gauge, only low fuel light.
The bike feels much like a 600 through the tight stuff, very nimble and very good feedback. Brilliant lights, outstanding brakes, impressive power above 3000 RPM and the quick shifter is the ducks nuts.
Felt very soft in the front initially, however easily adjusted via ignition key and currently set at 8 (10 max) to cope with my 106 kg and a vast improvement. Also a couple of clicks on the rear helped.

Dropping the bike into Auto Classics this arvo for first service and a full Akro system.
Also waiting on some carbon fibre bits. Wasn't going to spend the money but after seeing the carbon have to have.

Anyway all up very happy. The jap tourist love it too (see pics)

Good reports on the new bike is good to hear, how much is the full system setting you back?
Men have motorcycles while women have mensutral cycles, you can't talk to either while they are on it. The women's also has a sound, it goes nag-na-nag-nag-nag, biiiiiitch-bitch-biiiiiiiitch!

I had already paid for the slip on which was $1,200 but decided to go the whole hog. Full system = $2,400

Quite keen on one since the test ride.
Looking at the vids of the bike with a full system, your going to have flame popping grin from ear to ear. Enjoy

Now thats a nice bike! I've got the thunder grey one coming on the second shipment (whenever it gets the fuck here!) $1200 for slipon? Was that the akrapovic from bmw? They quoted me $1450 and said they have a special on the full system for $2045! Think they make it up as they go. Hey, post some pics with the system, love to see how it looks. Enjoy the new toy, can't wait for mine.

Was it you I saw on Victoria Road in Malaga on Tuesday? I damned nearly screwed my head off my neck turning to gawk when I saw the BMW badges on the bike I saw going through the roundabout.

You know what you get for being a hero? Nothing. You get shot at. A little pat on the back, blah blah blah, attaboy. You get divorced. Your wife can't remember your last name. Kids don't wanna talk to you. Get to eat a lot of meals by yourself. Trust me kid, nobody wants to be that guy
