I must admit when the idea was first suggested I liked it but maybe there is a reason why so many other things use bronze, silver, gold & platinum.. it shows a hierarchy without any implications other than membership.

I think the one using parts would be better but not sure you could have enough...

To clarify I was fine with the "lets change the name to make it more MC based rather than bog standard".. like Hewie said.. saw that and thought it was a good idea. What I am not fine with is the choice that was actually made... not sure when this thread was started but this was the first I had a chance to see it and yet it is all done and implemented... the powers that be made their choice.. not like it went to a poll or anything of what the choices were... or if people even wanted it changed..

I dont think the issue is the colour, or description, its that some people didn't have labels previously and now they do. If you now label people as 'Bronze' as opposed to gold, there will be people complaining that it implies that they aren't worth as much to the PSB community

We didnt choose the tags ... a member posted it up and it appeared to be the most popular so we adopted it.

Unfortunately we cant wait for everyone to respond to forum modifications/changes/ideas that are posted. We get the best feel we can and go from there.

Yes there were slight variations on it .. but the basis appeared sound based on the responses by other members.

This is not an exercise in eCock measuring or an attempt to belittle people. This was merely an idea to try and make the tags relate to motorcycling more than the generic ones do and to have a bit of a laugh.

No one is suggesting anyones value is more or less based on your $$ contribution to the forum. As XS said ... its what you do and say not how much you pay that makes people appreciate you.

If you have a better suggestion then please by all means make it. We are always willing to discuss an idea. But dont just bitch at us. I have a wife I hear enough of that already.

To be honest I'd keep Pillion for those people who actually are Pillions (Wives/GF's who don't ride) and just leave the others ie 'general'/'normal' users as blank and the subscription people with the new tags.
