Hit the Mitchell a bit late today ~8:00 am and it was pretty quiet for bike traffic except for bike cops. A few days in a row now they seem to get parked up with their focus pointed squarely at traffic passing below on roads like Scarborough and Vincent. Not too sure what they are looking for?? Illegal mobile phone users??
Other than that, lots of cops and news crews by my office on Adelaide Terrace, apparently some bloke went BASE jumping with out any equipment out of the Novatel building.

This morning ~6am was at the Tooday Rd & Roe Hwy lights and an older style bike (square headlight) behind me that kept stalling Then a black CBR954 I think going south on Roe Hwy and ~613am went past a red/black CBR125 on Beechboro Rd going north and was followed up till Alexander Dr
This arvo ~453pm spotted a green Ninja 250 going west, gave and received a nod
Then ~455pm a blue Yammie R-T/motard thing going right from Marshall Rd into Beechboro Rd, ~459pm a blue VTR250 I think coming out of Lord St right onto Reid Hwy west followed a minute later by a black VTR250 and then a black VTR thou going wst just before West Swan Rd
Then ~513pm spotted a red/black 954 I think going west on Toodyay Rd just out of Gidge

Nah, sorry, it wasn't you as I talked to the guy yesterday and asked. He was on a green KLX250 and I assumed it was you. Might have been a KLXR though (does such a thing exist?). Anyway, maybe our paths will cross someday.

Guy on a black sports bike this morning at 7am turning right from Gnangara Road onto Alexander drive, wearing white board shorts. He was in the left (outside) of the two turning lanes, I was in the cage in the right (inside) turning lane. Your idea of cutting across my lane while I was in it so you could make the apex of the corner was pretty stupid, and I estimate there would not have been more than an inch between your back tyre and my front bumper when you cut across in front of me and I dived on the brakes to save you. You've got me to thank for the fact to made it work in one piece this morning, and you're not in hospital getting skin grafts on your legs from your stupid ass riding skills and lack of protection from your board shorts. Dickhead!!

8:10 on the Mitchell this morning someone on a old Guzzi LeMans, riding in the long shadows of vehicles with no lights on, I could hear you before I could see you. Sorry if I pulled in front, but you were impossible to see!
Oh, and what looked like an original 916 or 748. Nice bike, especially with someone else riding it. Damn they still look uncomfortable...but nice bike, none the less!

A pretty sweet looking Ninja lane splitting past me on Nicholson Rd, turning onto Yale Rd in Canningvale/ Thornlie around 6PM. The bike looked fully sick bro.
