    Stainless Steel Welding

    Anyone know where I get get some stainless steel wielding done NOR?

    Need to get a couple of small loops wielded on an exhaust for some springs to attached to. Probably about a 15min job at the most. Been quoted $150 so far.

    What area are you ? you have all parts ? muffler need to be removed etc ?

    We use this guy for our stainless welding at work. No cheap but does a great job.

    My tig is out of gas, wont get some till next week. If you are not in a rush ill be a damn site cheaper than $150

    On welding, if I were to ask a welder to cut the cat out of my exhaust and replace it with some stainless tube, are they able to easily and accurately line everything up? Not sure how difficult welding is, but I'd rather not ruin the system.

    And what's a typical price?

    Still I believe it is a poor mind that can only think of one way to spell a word.

    i had this done on an old car after the cat was rusted off , took about 30 mins and cost something like $100 but wasnt stainless. he basicly got pipe that fit over the end of the stock pipe and welded it, it improved the preformance a tiny bit but wasnt a preformance car at all.
