Radar Jammers will get you pinappled big time. Smaller pinapple if you get caught with a number plate flipper.

Police have no problem with detectors of any sort. Jammers however different story. They view the use of jammers in line with Attempting to pervert the course of justice, as you are directly interferring with their equipment preventing them from obtaining a detected speed. I am told a JAM code comes up on the display when detected from the vehcile that is being targeted. I am also told that the jammers have already been defeated by the manufactures of the laser devices and your speed will be detected along with a code denoting a jammer is in use.

Hence the reason why its hidden. i highly doubt they pull about ya bike on the side of the road. I only want it for.... say if i was on roe hwy doin 150km/ph jammer was set on 100. see the pol pol i could then drop to 100. hit the kill switch to turn the whole system off. then i dont get a $1000 + fine and lose my bike.

The package i mention b4 comes with bluetooth so u can have small lights in ya helmet as seen here http://delonixradar.com.au/radar_det.../vizalert.html

    With older laser jammers, yes.

    With newer ones, no.

There's a good site about jamming equipment at www.guysoflidar.com (I think that's the address?).

I forget which type of handheld the WA popo use, but it's one of the LTI ones and there are definitely jammers out there that will work on it without triggering jam codes.

However, the popo may get a little suspicious that, try as they might, they can't get any speed reading from you for some reason. Use at your own risk.

From memory, there's a kit you can get which might work though. It connects up with a combination jammer and detector. The jammer is always on, but as soon as the detector gets a laser reading, a nice bright LED mounted inside your helmet comes on. You hit the brakes and then hit a button to turn off the jammer, allowing the popo to get a reading on you once you're below the limit.

All the above is in reference to handheld lasers. I don't know what the laser system on the new dual lense cameras is like (the new ones are reportedly laser rather than radar).

All up though, I think there are easier and cheaper options than jamming
