Seems like a good educational video. More of these videos should be shown to new drivers as part as their education/requirements of getting a licence.

Still reckon the tradie on the freeway trying to take all up 3 lanes while talking on one phone, txting on another and trying to eat a hamburger takes the cake for the biggest tosser on the road i have encounter.

The joys of the written word - sarcasm (not irony in this case) just gets lost sometimes. I cannot stand that abbreviated text shit myself and these days, with modern phones that have full keyboards and autocorrect/autocomplete, there's no excuse for it.

I clicked on the video at about 4pm today and havent seen it yet. Nor have I had tome to go through any responses above.
My phone rang just as I cliked and my daughter and one of the two grandchildren were on the way to Femantle Hospital Emergency Department. The other Grandson was uninjured.
They had been rear ended at traffic lights by a man using a moblile phone.
My granson was discharged early but my daughter spent 6 hrs in a neck brace getting xrays which have proved its soft tissue and was discharged at 10.30PM.
One of our company cars was rear ended two weeks ago by a P plater Texting.
The message just doesnt seem to get through and I am looking at car adverts that seem to promote Blue tooth and I pod connectivity-- seems driving is becoming secondary to electronoc amusement.

I have now gone through the Video and it hits the mark well.
Personally I do not use blutooth as the actual conversation is the distraction in using mobile phones when driving. No message is worth a crash for, if important they will leave a mesage and I will stop some where safe and then reply.
The Doctors treating my Daughter and Grandchild say the pain will be worse over next few days. The worry is my daughter allready has a serious issue with her neck so really does not need this complication.

but yeah, it's an abomination. I mean fair enough, you have to accept that language constantly evolves in tandem with the culture, but lazy text speak reeks of devolution to me.
