Ah, you seem like an open minded and tolerant fellow. Just an all around nice-guy I guess?
Why not just show a little respect for other road users, rather than hating ( <--thought you'd like that one) on them for the type of vehicle they choose? Perhaps they can't afford to run a bike or a car.
If the way that they're parking is bothering you, I'm sure there are avenues within the uni that will assist you in addressing the issue.
However, if it's just a case of "OmG! WTF! tharz a skootr in mai byke bay!", then get the fuck over your own self importance, and recognise that they have just as much right to park there as you do.
If there arn't enough bays for everyone, then I again suggest you contact the uni to see what can be done.
2 wheels is 2 wheels...

I still think thats scooters SUCK said it better. I have never owned a car and don't judge people by their economic prosperity.

Hello, you've reached the psychiatric hotline. If you are obsessive/compulsive, press 1 repeatedly. If you have multiple personalities, press 2, 3, 4, and 5. If you are simply paranoid, just stay on the line - we know who you are.

a) u only listed TWO of the numerous available bike bay locations around uni. although yes i agree GP2 tends to be full of scooters, there is still plenty of room and engineering, chemistry is packed but i rarely see scooters and ffs i have never had a problem parking down in reid.
b) somehow i dont think anyone here cares that u are staff
c) munky will squish u with his buns
all in all, your ignorance and discourtious demeanor so far has brought nothing but hate.

What the hell is with the increasing scooter population at UWA! If you don't need a motorcycle licence, park the f%king thing in your handbag or 3-4 to a bay; your taking up space reserved for people who ride motorcycles. Is it bad karma to shift them around to make space?
|
Sounds like you hated scooters. Just my general impression of what you've said so far.
Wouldn't being staff put you in a better position to get more bike parking though? God knows the parking is bad enough at UWA seeing 120 student bays were taken away last year was it? So have you put your ideas to the parking people?
Though i agree, the number of scooters has dramatically increased, but there is still plenty of m/c parking around if you look. I've always found a place to park on my bike.

Did anybody else spot the numerous spelling errors in the rest of the post?
After trying to digest all of that bullshit seriously, I found it much more entertaining to read it as a humourous piece. I hadn't laughed so much in so many years.
Why make an issue where there is none? Motorcycle parking at UWA is still as ridiculously easy as it was several years ago.
