Big difference between a $400 1980 Ford Laser and a $70,000 BMW as a first car. Fair call with the safety, but there's a lot of cheaper, safer cars out there - that won't cost a fortune to fix when they get bingled.
That, and i'd prefer said retarded P platers to be in something smaller, as they insist in pulling out in front of me around uni. Short little asian chicks can't see over BMW dashboards.

The dude in the Lotus Elise is bad enough, but there was a student there while I was working there who drove a Bentley and had special dispensation to use reserved and staff parking spots....

Hehe I know the guy hey. Tried my hardest to convince him out of it...but as I found out the fucker didn't listen. Just can't wait til he crashes it drag-racing (and losing to) me if I ever see him on the road. (private roads of course).
Anyway, about all this UWA snobbery...i reckon for the most part of it it comes from the fucking law faculty...those guys are the biggest fucking snobby rich kents i've ever met. And arts faculty doesn't add much to it either. Although i'd have to say on the most part faculties like comm, health science, science, med, eng etc...most of the ppl i've met from them are ur regular uni students...no real snobs etc. similar for curtin i reckon...they have a campus in singapore or somewhere, and they let heaps of international students in...but u know...if u forget them for a second there are heaps of awesome people from there too, eng, physio, OT etc. I reckon it just depends on faculty.
U know once I was at curtin and I took to counting the languages of conversations I heard...heard more than 50% non-english conversations...fucked huh...

Firstly, WOW!!!! i checked PSB at 3pm, and i get back and there's 4 pages!!!!
You guys probably see my red Hyo around, mostly at Electrical Eng (yes, i'm a sparky), though today there were no spots so i was forced to trek it from Mech 
Btw, i'm so not reading 4 pages of ranting, but i think the next meet-up should be either EOSS. Definitely not the 27th June. I was lucky enough to score the last exam of the semester (hooray for me ) |
