Yea, it was way under powered from what I was expecting and the handling is not up to scratch...over all I just found it not as much fun to ride as an everyday work as I did the R1. Beautiful sexy beast yes, but not the best in the Duke line up, maybe the evo will help fix that.
ditto!!! I shoulda kept them aaaallllllll! Sold my ninja to some growly person, thought it was going to a good home - my poor bike. (actually HE is ok, SHE was not!)
Regret buying the virago.......at 40, shoulda got itwhen I was 18 - woulda been so much the better rider today :-) but like they say, never too late
1980 pre Alpha 1 Maico 490 enduro machine, went like a bat out of hell in a straight line cross country, but thats all it did, cost me a broken colar bone, fractured right knee and several broken ribs, road it for three years in enduro's in europe, then got rid of it and got a Maico Alpha 1 490, not much difference, just threw you farther when you tried to high speed corner.
If at first you don't succeed, dont bother taking up sky diving.
This unit is portable when carried.
it wasn't a normal cookie, i figured that out 45 minutes into my exam.
