Perhaps the rider was just cruising along on the way home, and the radar was at a "FUNNY" angle and picked up an alien craft that was in the distance... hence the read out of such speed.. - IT COULD HAPPEN.

Depends on the duty officer on that night I know quite a few who will let the chase go for ages withoot aborting then you get others that wont allow a chase then the rest that abort partway through
I remember one chase in particular the vehicle was told to abort and the reply was no not aborting as the driver is wanted for armed holdups and other serious offences so the delta car kept chasing it then finally caught it 10 mi8n later

so alll depends who on that night

I guess ACA and Channel 7 have another news story to fill the "lets attack a minority" slot.

At the risk of being flamed, isn't it stuff like this that gives the rest a bad name?

I mean I don't recall seeing any speed signs reading 140??

    just a thought.
