A very good friend of mine was the pillion, I also know the deceased well. Absolutely shocked.

The Pillon was extremly lucky I think, I would have thought they would both be gonners in the event of an accident? no?

Speculation as to what might of happened is usually considered bad form in these threads. It could be as simple as the rider hit a tree or sign where the pillion missed everything. Not that it really makes anything better.Originally Posted by RRossi
