Hi All,

Forum was upgraded to the latest version this morning, let me know if you notice anything out of the ordinary.

New Stuff
- Forum software updated
- Tapatalk updated
- Sidebar updated
- @user tagging

ToDo
- Remove Advertising for paid users
- Update dark skin

Known Issues
- PSB logo missing on default skin
- Images are not scaled on iOS
- Mobile Skin is not working on Android/iOS
- Sidebar not wide enough to fit ads
- Sidebar not able to be hidded by paid member
- Ad colours in dark skin are wrong.
- Favicon missing
- Logo missing in mobile skin

I previously had the mobile style set. when i loaded the page today it reverted to normal default style, and trying to change the styles (from mobile device) does nothing.

Strange, I can select it and it changes appropriately.

I'll probably need more info or help with more testing to get it sorted.

hey Nath,

bit of a question ... I noticed at the top of the forum today advertising for companies. May have been there before but because it was kogan it caught my eye. What constitutes getting your company link/logo in that spot?

on a side note - very cool new posts appear as I'm typing this one out.

At the moment its just google ads so its whatever advertisers are making available, it is however contextual so it should relate to the thread/post content where possible.

We are currently trialling a few different options when it comes to advertising and it will likely become a rotating banner.

I still have to work on making them disappear for supporters so you (as a supporter) won't seem them once that is done.

1inch gap of grey on either side now squeezes the whole site a bit for me, im on a gen 1 ipad

so, advertising will remain seen for non-supporters? That's ok...but on my HTC desire....can't see the threads/titles/contributor details, because the advertising side bar takes up half the screen.

it wasn't happening in the old version. I was using default style then, and again now. Tried mobile version on the HTC Desire (with the forum upgrade) but there is no difference.

android 2.2 LG optimus black. can't change styles. ill keep trying though.

When someone replies in a thread with a quote from you it comes up in the notifications tab up the top right hand corner. Click on the tab and it says 'new quote posts', then you click on the '2 new quote posts' and it just takes you to your profile, it doesn't take you to the quotes tab in your profile. Go back to the forum main page and the notifications tab up the top doesn't reset, it still says '2 notifications'

Yep, confirmed, this is a problem for me also.

I will find out how they are reset.

Ah good, bit annoying, I'm on PSB Dark which of course is light grey, the other one for me was going to be the quotes, but I see both are in hand Thanks

Ok, this is due to another mod we use (VBSEO) rewriting the user profile addresses, I'm working on a fix now.
