if they're putting fixed cameras in blackspots i have no real issue with this. fixed camera = know where it is, avoid it or ride past it at limit, then resume warp
    stuff

All you have to do is get it up on one wheel for long enough, then the licence place will be at such an angle that it can't be read. Simple.

    Start practicing...

I've been tempted with plenty of cameras just for shits and giggles Phildo, but it would be that exact moment that I fudged the liftoff or elevation or even the landing and went down in history as "that guy" that and my helmet is too recognizable for those games

How lovely... Whilst it's better to know where it is, I doubt many multi vehicle accidents are caused by speed on the freeway. and if you bin your own shit cause of speed, to bad.

Still, if this is a front facer, you know a cannonball run is needed. Hell, if it's a rear facer it'll be even more lolzy. (just kidding, but seriously)

Seems that the lack of speed causes most of the incidents on the freeways in Perth, the Enraged Cagers seem to go off like a frog in a sock on the freeway jumping out from all over the place,

I am still shocked and amazed by

    A) Frequency I witness people just ploughing their shit right into other vehicles without even attempting to brake
Crazy "OMFG-I-ws-totes-jst-txting-my-BFF-nd-nrly-crashd" style emergency swerving on a regular basis

I would love to get out on some PSB rides and find some more FNOR riders as hardly see anybody on the freeway these days , the occasional few regulars, but not many,

Must be time to add PSB stickers which will obviously triple the KW output of my bike, enhance my mad riding skillz and making me more visible to other riders attracting more members from surrounding suburbs in one fell swoop!

well then they do work....because you're admitting that people slow down around them. So if positioned at genuine black spots, the result would be lower speeds??? If the goal is to reduce speed at trouble spots, then i'm all for fixed cameras in those locations.

Now point to point speed cameras actually work, I hate those fuckers. Only good thing is there are limited spots they can be used...
do they really make things safer? can't people speed just as much, then stop for a rest just before the second point?

Our Father, Who art at Phillip Island, Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done
In the backroads as it is on the freeway
Give us this day our high-octane premium fuel
    And forgive us our lanesplitting
As we forgive the four wheel drives, the volvos and the taxis
And lead us not into gravel corners
But deliver us from hand-held radars
For thine is thy leather, thy denim, thy Gore-Tex and thy Kevlar

I have a feeling its going to be hooked up with the speed averaging loops all along the fwy, The camera will just be recording plates all plates with which ever magnetic signature is recorded to be speeding in one of the zones, they are designed to know which lane you were in and which lane you swapped over too etc.. Dont exceed the speed at any point on the fwy regardless of where this box is setup IMO..

These cameras are just causing more right lane 10-20kph bellow drivers on the fwy... we all know it, the cops know it... but the damage has been done now cant stop the 3-4 car pile ups once they set that ball rolling..
