I didn't see the incident, just the aftermath.

Ambulance is still there. Either he is taking a while to stabilise, or they are calling the coroner.

I went past there last night after the motoGP (930ish???) saw a blue white late model gixxer and a redwhite late model gixxer (with rider sitting on bike) parked up against the wall of the Brissy, gave the nod.

There's so many ppl stumbling around the beufort st strip, silly drink ppl.

Man in hospital after one-punch assault

A 36-year-old man remains in hospital with serious head injures after an alleged one-punch assault outside a Highgate hotel last night.
The man suffered serious head injuries after allegedly being punched in the head and falling back onto the roadway.
He remains Royal Perth Hospital.
Police were called to the Beaufort Street hotel at 10.30pm last night after reports of an assault at the entrance to the hotel.
A police officer was also assaulted while trying to calm the situation.
A WA Police spokesman said that the attacked man was allegedly punched in the head and fell onto the roadway, hitting his skull.
He was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
A Morley man, 36, has been charged with assault and disorderly behaviour in public.
He is due to appear in Perth Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
Police say further charges could be laid once a medical report on the man's injuries is received.
