we'll be lucky if he gets more than 5 years.

just heard on the news that the dickhead was travelling at 40km over the limit, lets see

Travelling at 140kmh

Pissed off his tits (.24 I belive )

Wrong lane of the freeway

No lights

Suspended licence

Oh on top of this they have not charged him with any offences following the crash, he is onyl facing previous charges.

How fucking worse can it get, all we need now is the retarded backward WA law system to let him go with a hand slap.

Can you be charged with vehicular manslaughter in WA ?

There's a speed limit for going backwards down a freeway? Surely that limit would be zero?

Looking at the list of previous offences in the paper today, I can't see why he was bailed in the first place.
He's gonna be staying in lockup for a while for breaching bail, but I hope his lawyer doesn't get him bailed again.

I agree with what everyone else has said above - RIP young lady.

The speed limit for going the wrong way up the freeway is -80 to -100km/h

So at 140 the wrong way, he was perhaps 240 over the limit.

Fucker should be disposed of.

Dose him up so he's on .24 BAC again, take the prick out to the middle of the desert and just dump him there (no water, no food, etc).

Can someone explain to me why the drivers of the cars that turn in front of bikes do not get similar treatment?

Today his lawyer told the court he wanted the charge downgraded to dangerous driving causing death. He indicated his client may then plead guilty because he wanted the matter dealt with as soon as possible.
Nice. Kill someone while pissy driving then act like it's all huge inconvenience. Hope the prosecutor sticks to his guns and gets him for the higher charge.

What worries me though is that the Police get a bit overzealous with charges, they pull the highest charge they can out of the book but with the higher charge comes a higher standard of proof, and if the evidence doesn't exist to quantify that standard of proof, the chances of the guy getting let off that charge and walking increase.
