Motorcycle Accident - Marmion Drive

Just passed a serious motorcycle accident on a straight section
of Marmion Drive around Padbury. A lot of people in aid and the
Ambulance on its way. The bike looked to be an old red Honda.
I hope the rider is okay - it made my heart sink passing through.

Another one! Makes me think twice about riding this time of year when people just seem to be rushing everywhere and not as focused (if they ever were).

Good luck rider, hope you pull thru!

I just saw the scene a few minutes ago on my way back from Hillary's.

I couldn't see any vehicles (wasn't going to rubber neck while i was moving in traffic), but the po po have that whole side of Marmion closed (both lanes).

I hope all involved are OK

Just saw it on 7 news. Rider clipped a sign. Severed a finger and a leg. Looked like a CBR250.

Sorry, i'm extremely pessomistic and synical when it comes to network broadcast news.

My firm opinion is they're all a bunch of wankers that couldn't get a story straight if their life depended on it.

I can't find a single thing about this on any news site, which hopefully means the rider is OK. If he doesn't make it I expect the aforementioned wankers to have it on the front page.

*goes to get another alcoholic beverage to calm down*

(Note: No offense intended to anyone in PSB who is a member of the press. It's your networks and the wankers who decide what goes on the air that I hate. They program for entertainment value... to get bums on seats... and I REALLY hate that).

We wish you a speedy recovery. Please keep a keen eye out for others and keep safe riders. We are not always at fault, but be mindful that people do make mistakes and we tend to pay a higher price than cagers physically.
