Motorcycle Crash, Mandurah/Dixon Road, Nr Rockingham

I tried to post this in the News Flash section but couldnt, so thought here was a good a place as any

Apparently there was a fairly nasty car/motorcycle collision on the intersection of Dixon/Mandurah Road near Rockingham earlier this morning.
One of the guys I work with said it looked pretty bad and that there may have been a fatality at the scene.

I really hope it wasnt anyone on here.

    Ride safe chaps.

Yes, its sad if anyone gets injured/killed on their bike but people on here seem friendly and close with each other so it brings it home a bit

Hi guys not a good subject for my first post here but to let you know the rider a PSB member and my partner is ok!
Very lucky girl to come away with fracured thumb, lacerations and bruising - car turning across her at 60k.
    - Thanks for all your concerns...

Sorry to hear that, but glad it wasn't worse than it was.
The guy I work with who drove past the scene said it looked really nasty and that he thought he saw blood so glad it wasn't as bad as he thought!

I stopped at the scene to see if i could help about 5 mins after the Ambos had just left. [ so I was informed]

Spoke to the driver as it seemed the cops and every other emergency service personnel were too busy with a horse pig rooting in it's float at the lights.

Driver was extremely upset and only wanted to know the condition of the rider. He looked to be going into shock which is handy as everyone else seemed to pay him no attention.
He mentioned that all his mates ride and he believed he had enough time to turn through the lights before the bike had even entered the intersection.

He also said she was not speeding [according to his judgement] which stressed him even more , and just doesn't know how it happened. Said she was a Posty so he must have spoken to her a bit beofrehand, which was a relief to hear.

Just a plainly terrible day for all involved.

Good to see the rider is ok , as the scene didn't look so pleasant as I was riding towards it.
