Ok well, in the spirit of shaming riders.
I saw this dickhead riding with a fluro vest.
If youre on here, you look like a twat.

I'm with you Kristy. If I see someone doing something worth of the "name and shame" thread, then I'll post it up regardless of what vehicle they are driving - car, bike, bus, ferry, train, truck, bicycle, tractor etc.

Meh, like water off a duck's back. I don't have any beef with any riders I have been out with, and have no intention of posting up anyone that I have seen. So it seems you can report scooters (a few pages back) but not bikes. Me smells double-standards

So, people on bikes can't do anything wrong?
What if I saw some goon take off too quick for his pillion to grab hold?
Would I be allowed to post that?

The person in question from this mornings incident has a history of riding dangerously on group rides. I dont see anything wrong with naming and shaming ... it may will make him realise he is acting like fucking retard and save not only his own life but others around him.

Before posting about the actions of another rider, it may be wise to ask yourself the following questions.
1) Did their actions directly affect you in any way?
2) Can you conclusively say that their actions endangered themselves any more than simply getting on the bike in the first place?
Unless you can answer yes to one of the above theres a large can of worms your going to open. The OP of the bike incident did not qualify his statement in the slightest. Did the rider take off from the lights a little quick? Did he/she get a knee down? Did the front or rear get a little light? Did he/she take umbrage at the other riders splitting? Did the rider cut him/her off? Did the rider take his/her mirror?

Foot in mouth doesnt suit you
AND you've been here long enough to see how people ranting on other riders ends up.

Do I need to respond.. or does the page of responses speak for themselves ?
Either way.. I fucked up and thought his response was in the rants thread.. which, in the end, mattered little.
I'll also add that if you look at the majority of rants about cage drivers they usually follow the "You nearly killed me" trend rather than the "You nearly killed yourself" theme.
Carry on..
Oh.. and btw.. I think this thread is fucking stupid..

Getting as bad as the "dob in a hoon ads", ride like u want to ride and stop comparing yourselves to everybody else, as if your own riding style is the way everyone else should ride.

That was just a hypothetical
I don't think there's any harm in a PSBer getting called out on riding like a fuckwit.
They can get defensive and type a lot of swear words, and continue as before, or they can take it on board and become better.
Hell, if someone called me out for the big wobbly wheelie I did this morning, only problem I'd have would be if they had posted up specifics

If you are going to criticise someones riding ability, at least have the common courtesy to do it constructively.

...and detail why you're aggreived by the other driver/rider's actions in the first place, i.e. did the other rider's actions put you at risk or himself? Or other road users as well? Etcetera.

That sounds like the whole "1%" thing that the bikies have going on, with riders who think that road rules are for everyone else but them and they will do as they please. Is this the image PSB want to promote? Hell no, for obvious reasons.

name and shaming all the fuck knuckles that insist on putting a nmae to the bike. Also to all the dickheads that have more than likely put themselves in harms way more than once but have never had their card pulled for it.
Glass houses guys. Come forward and preach those who have NEVER done anything dangerous or illegal on their bikes EVER....

But if someone is riding in a way that endangers themselves and not really anyone else, are they deserving of a post in the name and shame thread? I'd sooner put it in Spotted, and offer constructive criticism there.
However, if someone is putting other road users at risk, THEN they deserve to be posted here.
IMO
