Riding push bike home from work on the left of the white line along the left side of the road. The road has a 2 foot wide strip to the left of the line to allow for bikes to use the road safely. F#ckwit driving veers over close to me so that the passenger can hang out the window and give me a shove on the hip as they go past. I end up upside down on the verge still trying to unclip shoes from the pedals but managed to get the number plate - WOULD LOVE TO FIND THAT CAR ONE DAY SOON !!!

I don't have any faith in our justice system especially given it will just end up my word against theirs.
I'm also not sure the driver can be compelled to name the passenger who actually shoved me anyway.
Our justice system is toothless even when it has a clear cut case and I can't see this resulting in anything more than a fine of a couple of hundred at most. I had a mate punched in the face in a pub when the bloke thought he was looking at his girlfriend when he was actually nodding to friends as he walked into the pub. The friends were drinking at the table behind them but the meathead just got up and threw the punch before finding out what was actually happening. He got a $300 fine and 6 months good behaviour.
WHY BOTHER !!!
I'd rather wait my chance and i know i can't do anything now that i've named the car and myself on here but the likelihood of finding them now is small and after a couple of months you can never be totally sure its the same people in the car. It could be a brother or have even sold the car and i won't go after someone unless i'm sure its them. If i'd caught up to them at the lights a few hundred metres down the road it would have been VERY different.....

Well, the record of offences gets long enough, the punishments get worse. If no one bothers, then *nothing* is likely to happen to the guy which is even worse....

Exactly. Because we all know that those 17yo kids with 200+ assault, B&E, theft, car theft charges on their record get HEFTY 2 month detention slaps on the wrist these days...

It's definately worth reporting.
after it goes to court, and you find out who they are, THEN the punishment begins.
lol
But seriously, you should/have report/ed it.

Heh. Yes the system sucks - but at least making a complaint has more chance of the law doing something about it than not, even if it IS only 10-15% or whatever.

1ADH 690 - oldish red Pulsar.
cruising down Marmion in me ute, on the 80 speed limit, approaching an intersection, (I thnk it was Warwick). Green light, I go to drive straight thru. This red pulsar to my left, turning left, waiting at the give way sign, decides to pull out into my lane, just as I'm crossing the line... there's a car to my right so I can't swerve, just have to hit the brakes *extremely hard* on the verge of locking up. A solid blast of the horn .... pass him a bit down the road after I get into the other lane, and notice the dopey twit has earphones in, so he's probably oblivious to the whole thing. Youngish looking guy, but no P plates.
A big white Falcon ute coming at you at 80km/h is pretty bloody hard to miss I woulda thought... <_<
another use of the horn about 10 mins later when a prick in a 4WD didn't give way to me on a roundabout.... narrowly missed him, unfortunately didn't get the plate
that's 2 out of the 3 times I've used the horn in over a year of driving it.

It's here J
Like the guy on the blue bike (honda I think) heading North on Tonkin Highway Maddington this morning in the right hand lane. I came up behind the little suzuki hatchback tailgating you prepared to give the little fuck a visual (and verbal and physical if required) message for doing such a thing. Then I looked at my speedo. 80 kph in a 100 zone and the empty road in front of you. I think you forgot to attach your P plates this morning.
Yep, that was me in the empty left lane disappearing down the road at 100 k's not getting involved and leaving stupidity behind me.

XDS 000 Dark metallic grey Citroen C2
Travelling south on Kwinana Fwy near South St at 7.25am at around 100kph. I'm in the right lane not holding up traffic (slowly overtaking those in the left lane), and there is a long line of cars and trucks in the left lane. This idiot wants to tailgate me. After a warning flash of brake lights or two, he decides to try and overtake me to my right, with him half in the emergency lane. Gets beside me the swerves left, and I'm trapped against cars to my left!!
By now he is 5cm from my handlebars and still coming. Only one thing left to do, - a boot into his passenger door! Slowing suddenly to make him shoot past me wasn't an option, as there were lots are cars behind and I didn't want to become part of a freeway nose to tail crunch at 100kph.
When we separated (the boot worked!), he then spent the next 5 mins driving behind / beside / in front of me, talking animatedly on a mobile phone (not hands free), and taking pictures of me with a digital camera. TOOL !!
I hope he has a dent in his door (I didn't look).
Needless to say, I did a full written report at a police station immediately afterwards. I would love for his insurance company to come chasing me on this one. I left the cop shop with them agreeing to give him a visit. It is also documented officially if he does find some size 10 boot prints in his door.
As much as it now seems to be an act of bravado to stick the boot into his car, at the time it was very much a gut reaction to preserve my life and left me shaking at what could have ended up very messy for me !!

Sorry, I couldnt find the dickhead cagers thread (mods can move if required)
Coming home from city going down freeway were graham farmer changes to orrong. Cars are stopped so I start lanesplitting, can see 2 bikes furtherdown, bout 200 metres. Half way between fransisco and grt easter this stupid fat cunt of a muther fucker in the right lane thinks it would be humourous to swerve left so his tryes are OVER the cats eyes! I almost locked it and stopped within a couple of feet of his bumber.
Waited a few seconds until the traffic started moving, came up next to him, stopped, glared, flipped him the bird and overtook nd headed home.
Turned down fransisco and thought "fuck it"around and went and parked on the footpath on one of the roads that has a culdesac adjoining orrong. waited 30 seconds and got his rego. The look on that stupid muther fuckers face as he drove past me a second time was worth it.
shit-brown-green EA Falcon 7NN 902 with shit loads of stickers on the back window/back bumber.
If anyone see's him throw a fucking boot in for me.
(i was tempted to see how effective carbon-fibre knuckled gloves are against windows)
