I don't go in the car with her anymore.
    Because she lost her license?

The guy from Mian Roads definitely guaranteed that they are not fixed speed cameras.......................

Yep, heard a similar thing on the radio.

They also spoke about the new technology for the multi lane speed camera's and the Red light/Speed Camera's which you can get done twice in one hit with... No more speeding up to beat that red light

More and more intersections are being monitored...

I saw some old traffic lights get upgraded to LED ones the other day...

I believe at the same time a camera was mounted, just an observation one, as I had not noticed it before...

are these "victronic" systems fixed cameras or just a new form of speed camera's? That will be added to the number of exsisting cameras?

I don't use one, but I may very shortly I think.
I'm a little late to the party, but I can set up a separate page on that site that just lists the co-ordinates if you like.

What format do you need it to be in.

    -31.xxx, 115.xxx - Address or;
    -31.xxx, 115.xxx with no address?

Let me know and I'll stick it up.

Could you make it GPX format: GPS eXchange Format - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

so that people can use something like GPSBabel GPSBabel: convert, upload, download data from GPS and Map programs to convert to whatever format they need for their GPS receiver?

Just read that link about the "TIRTL" thing so do these things get rego's? Cause if they do, speeding in general could very quickly become a past time story.... well for me anyway I get paranoid now even if i'm doing 5k's over the limit, guess they're doing their job well then.
I don't really understand people's arguments to the whole "THEY'RE JUST DOING IT FOR REVENUE RAISING"..... everyone knows they are so wtf can we do about it? Is there a law against it? There must be because everyone keeps bringing it up??? Please to have it explained, thanks.

Oooo also just read that apparently it cannot detect small vehicles, lane changers and . . . . BIKES , and it's range is 2-250km/h with a 99.5%+ accuracy.

So if your planning on speeding make sure you're swerving all over the shop if you're in a large car or going well over 250 good luck Wonder how well these things would work with a board placed over them.....

red light cameras that double as speed cameras have been operating over east for ages even in my home state SA. WA has just been living up to the Wait Awhile saying and in this case its in our favour! Nothing like speeding up to beat the red and getting stung for running the red and speeding !

GPX stuff done, link is at the bottom of each map (current day only).

I don't have a GPS to test with, so give it a whirl and let me know what is broken

Sadly these are the new types of camera's, they are currently testing them in a few locations (fwy south, perth - bunbury) as well as these intersections.

they are video camera's with plate recognition software they do not use laser/radar type signals, instead they use multiple sensors disc's in the road which communicate with each other and the camera to measure speed. These new camera's do not flash when they catch you!

I finally got bored. You can do this directly from the site now, convert the locations to most popular GPS formats. (Thanks to GPSbabel)

Give it a go and let me know if any problems. As per usual, it is very untested

Fwy south? Where? And what sort of camera?

So does anyone have a list of where all the permanent speed cameras are?
The only one I know of is on Riverside Drive.
