Not so much a FLASH just a warning

I got done by a laser cop on industrial Abernethy Road when driving my van last week. I deserved it. But be wary when on that road heading past Grogan towards Kalamunda Rd.
The she-cop, who was there, told me its a butterfly net for coppers....every second driver doing well over the 70 limit.
This morning, with this in mind, I drove cautiously and bugger me dead, if there wasn't two cops, side by side, aiming their lasers together. Exactly in the same spot...its just after Lombardos. Be warned, troopers.

i use that road everyday in my truck ... were they sitting @ lombardies trailers? thats their usual hot spot to nab ya

Been pinged there on a Saturday coming back from work mid last year, have always been pretty cautious since... Especially now Abernethy is dual lane and fairly straight yet the limit remains at 70 the entire road is a hot spot.

I live just near there in Wycombe and that road used to be a great one till the cops got onto it. Now not a week goes by without seeing them there at least once.

If you are heading east towards Kalamunda Rd they are normally around where the two lanes merge into one.

They are here today, 5 cops in two cars... right at the intersection to head to the RAC track.

Big safe road with low limit and low chance of road accidents = revenue raising hotspot.

That's the one. Corner of Grogan and Abernethy. This was at 2:30 though so they may well ahve moved on, you get a lot of warning from other cars/bikes before it however, maybe why they didn't have anyone caught.

Definately revenue raising there. That bullshit about them only doing it in known hotspots is an utter lie, they do it where they know they make the most cash because of ridiculously low speed limits.

Cheers for this. I sometimes take the "fun" way home after work and I use this road. The speed limit is way to slow.
