I'm on the site 3 times a day anyway but yeah, sure, sign me up.

I didn't create the site mate, I'm just the custodian.
These guys are responsible for the design and "look and feel" of the site, I'm not that talented and am just responsible for the content, images and blog postings etc.
I'm also Tom's contact back in civilisation, he's calling me each day with weather reports, facts and figures, the amount of Polar bears he has seen. All really good stuff that I can put in the blog.
It's going to be really interesting to follow Tom's journey, as I believe that 90% of this is mental fortitude, as Tom said to me "You have a hard job. You'll be talking to me when I am high as a kite having covered a huge distance and seen some amazing stuff. You'll also have me sobbing down the phone at you because I have drifted 10 miles backwards over night and have nothing left in reserve".

Holy crap. Just reading the blog of another team linked to from today's post... Tom may be solo, but he's not exactly the only person out there on the ice.
