OK mods - so who's going to go the next step and let me send MMS to the forum (ie be able to include a pic or soundsnap in my SMS post)???
Some of the gateways support it or are bringing in support now.

Could we subscribe to receive SMS alerts based on previous discussion of what the subject line is?
IE... Text the following
Multanova [linebreak - if we can make this the subject]
On x road in x suburb.
Therefor, I ONLY receive SMSs that have a subject of 'Multanova'
Just means ppl will have to know the syntax... but that could be made simple enough... 4 or 5 key words...
- Accident
- Multanova
- Congestion...
Give us options in the profile for which one's we would like to receive...
Obviously this isn't 5minute stuff, but thought it might be worth thinking about.
Cos I don't care if you are front row at BDO watching Tool |

Going through this list
Only EMVY and Pricey have changed the title from SMS ALERT to something else...
How did they do it? I tried inserting a 'new line' to separate the two but it did nothing (well it added a < br > tag... but it was inline and did nothing). |

I think you'll find those two post were not SMS'd in. Manually put in the sms alert area via the interwebthingy.

Sent an sms today to warn riders in the Reid Highway area to be careful, it didn't get posted, my number is in my profile and I sms'd the correct number, is it something I did wrong or is it only for certain members.

i also sent an sms about a week ago aboiut a speed camera an i noticed it never came up on here.
got my number in my profile too...and i know i sent it to the right number

only prob i see with have syntax line as header is if you don't spell it right as in in multanova, when it's multinova and that would mean that sms alert would not get sent out?
