The kneebone's connected to the something, the something's connected to the red thing, the red thing's connected to my WRIST WATCH
Just got back from the scene (Abernethy and Daddow Rd)
rider not in a real good way, but still conscious although head wounds and possible internal injuries. He was whisked away in the ambulance but a good sign that he was still talking to them as they loaded him in.
bike (GS1100,with panniers and 'crash bars'probably salvagable - front end and fairing f**d, but these bikes are pretty well bullet proof so...
Car, as usual, minimal damage - front drivers side wheel slightly out of whack tho
driver - shaken up but ok (like you lot care anyway <_< )
Should hear more about rider in a few days - hopefully all good
Shit, get better dude.![]()
Hope you are ok Mr GS1100
Cup o' tea?
God I hope so - There's been far too much of this lately.Originally posted by redxz+Jul 6 2005, 08:23 AM-->As we don't know the story or who was at fault...driver - shaken up but ok (like you lot care anyway* <_< )

"Look wise guy, I know I'm a racer, I can feel it in my code."
is there some great prize for the best bike accident or something jesus
hope the rider pulls up alright, as for the driver, redxz said they were ok so its alright
yes we dont know the cause/person(s) responsible but its easy to pick the most common reason isnt it![]()
It isn't all about the physical. Emotionally things like this hit hard - that's what I was referring to when I said I hope they are ok.Originally posted by horse@Jul 6 2005, 07:25 PM

Obviously the rider is of greatest concern due to his injuries but I feel for both of them.

sorry i'm a typical male so emotional issues arent my forte'![]()
spoke to the driver personally, and while he was quite shaken, he too was quite concerned for the rider.
It was not my intention to dismiss the car drivers injuries (physical or emotional).
I was just getting in with a light hearted jibe before anyone else started ragging on the 'cager' for taking out another bike. Having read many posts on here, the welfare of the car driver is rarely asked after. (hmm, hope that sounds how I mean it to)
sorry if I offended any one
I realise that you weren't having a go.Originally posted by redxz@Jul 6 2005, 08:20 PM

*Ice looks around* Noone offended here!
I was just trying to make the point that we shouldn't assume it was the car's fault before anyone started in with the 'damned cager' comments!![]()
