ummm, as others have said, it doesn't stop.

I ride to stay alive, I assume people don't see me. I am still at risk when out on the road.
I choose to partake in using transport that, due to the nature of the road and drivers is dangerous.
ReCon, if you are a rider - stop being surprised, and stop thinking it will stop.
Statistics are reliable.
Intelligence and education are three sides of the same coin.
I am hearing that the rider passed away. I hope this is incorrect
It took the police and ambos 30mins to arrive... disgracefull
RIP
Only motorcyclists can understand why dogs stick their head out of car windows
From what I saw and felt, very small chance he survived, bike was split in khalf , rip
The cops and ambo's, in my experience, make every effort to get to accidents involving injury as fast as they can. One of the greatest stressors an emergency worker faces is arriving "late" regardless of the reason. You are right, 30min is disgraceful.
Thoughts to all involved.

Looking at the posts in this thread, I hope it is not a fatal accident, and from a personal perspective, it is not someone we know.
But I have issues with blind blaming our emergency services and their response times. I have only known a few of the ambo personnel, and they react as soon as the alarm is given.
The few that I have met, I trust them to do the best they can and have issues when their integrity is questioned.

Can't stop thinking about this while out meant to be having fun, rIp dudewish I could have helped more, Fuck that red car doing an illegal turn,Fuck him to hell
Ambo's are incredibly professional, wonderful people. Regardless of the situation, regardless of the casualties condition (attitude), these men and women work at a fantastically high level. Pissing with rain, or baked by the road surface, Ambo's have a focus and dedication I admire and I hold their vocation in very high esteem. Not once in 18 years of working closely with them have I ever thought that they had not applied every ounce of their expertise to the treatment of a suffering person. I blame no-one, if the 30min is true it would have nothing to do with the "troops" on the ground.
Likewise those working in the relevant communications centers have a high level of training. They too would be mortified were their effort and diligence questioned.

Couldn't agree more IMHO. Though my only dealings have been from the injury end.
Also if they are stupidly busy basic triage starts coming into effect.
Either way rip. For the rider I hope it was quick. Thoughts are with the so many people this is going to affect

Teedo: If you saw it happen, you should consider giving your details to the Police and making a statement. If the car was at fault, it may lead to charges for the driver or may allow the rider/his family to make an insurance claim against the driver/ICWA for damages due to driver's injury/death.
ABC News are reporting that Police are questioning the female driver of the car.
I didn't actually see it happen so I can't be a witness, I'm going by what the taxi driver said, I just heard it happen 10m away and jumped out. I hope there was a witness or 2 though
32yr old male from Beechboro. RIP dude. Car driver totally to blame.
