Riding home from work i passed this poor bugger about 300m from the freeway on Russel Road. Traffic control personal where already on site and the downed rider was being attended too by about 4-5 people, couldnt see ambulance or police. Possible that the traffic control guys were passing and decided to help before medics could arrive. the rider had a canary yellow and black helmet on and was not moving, from what i could tell in the brief instance of my passing. the motorcycle was a litre bike of naked design and had 2 underseat exhaust pipes and was yellow in colour. the bike was positioned sideways and partly on the median strip heading in the freeway direction. the rider was about 10-15 metres from the motorbike. there was a amount of debris around the bike and i saw no other vehicles involved. as to possible causes i can only speculate, the median strip was full of freshly chipped wood and there was some on the road. given he was close to the vehicle i would speculate that speed wasnt a factor but im not a crash investigator.

hope its no one here and hes going to make it.
