Rider down Warnbro Sound Ave/ Dampier Rd roundabout Golden Bay

Not really a discussion thread, just rode past as they were wheeling the rider into the Ambo. Dunno if he is too badly injured, however if you are a mate of his can you tell him bike is safely locked away inside my place and no need to rush to get it picked up!

Is a pretty new looking WR250/ 450. Damage is minimal as I rode it back without a drama, just a grind mark on the bark Busters.

As I never got to see or speak to the owner , if you want to pick it up, either roll up with the Rangers or cops, or have a photo id and a bill with a matching address.

    Just concentrate on getting better!

Ranger, cops and Ambos have my details. Rider was concerned and informed that all is cool with the bike. Was just posting up in case he wakes up tomorrow with no idea what has happened. Hoped he had a mate or family who might have been on here and passed on the message to him directly.

Friend of mine was 3rd in line apparently and said he was unconscious on the deck beforehand , but I rode past about 10 mins later as he was being placed in Ambo.

Hope he is ok and on the mend...

If it was left there it would be missing- permanently.

Yes , the bike has a push button start, no key! Pressed the button , and off I went. I searched for the key at my place for about 5 mins beforeI figured out how to kill the ignition completely.

Update: was contacted by owner yesterday and I dropped it off at his place today. Not really injured [standard road rash] , but pretty nervous about the whole situation still.
The look of concern when he checked his bike over was proof enough that it meant a lot to him, so he is much better now that it's home
We drove past the site that he had the off on the way back when he was dropping me at my place and he is still genuinely traumatised by the whole incident still, albeit a minor off.

Genuinely nice bloke , and surprisingly he didn't kill puppies OR bash grannies , so alls well , ends well...
