*sigh* .... social irresponsibility

GTA pulled from shops after taxi murder | NEWS.com.au

What ever happened to being responsible for your own actions?

I see murder, death, theft, rape, etc continually in the news, movies, etc.

I haven't murdered, killed or raped anyone yet.

What a load of bullshit. a video game causes someone to murder...what a copout. But I bet u he gets away with it. or a lighter sentence.

Maybe you're doing something wrong.

According to the article, he claimed he was trying to recreate a scene from this:

I wasn't aware it was even on the shelves anymore!

What a crock of shit.
I'm so sick of people blaming video games instead of *shock horror* the people committing crimes.

If they pulled the game here because of something like this, fuck I would be mad...

The whole point of the game allows you to do things that you wouldn't normally do in the real world. That is exactly what games are for, racing formula 1, world cup soccer, sword fighting, guitar hero etc...

Just a copout lame arse excuse for being a dill, good thing when you're caught in the game it doesn't get locked for 25 years, or death by lethal injection.

I'm going to run around whacking barrels with a big hammer, and blame it on video games.

And having a metal bar or a chain makes lane splitting fun!

A new version of Road Rash (PS1)

What about online porn. Just because you do it on your computer doesn't mean you actually DO IT in real life.

makes my blood boil. Does anyone remember/know of little James Bulger killed by two kids in England a few years ago. They tried to blame that on video games too.

i have been waiting for a video game for about 6yrs... yeah no joke. Fallout 3 if neone else knows the game. And its just been banned in australia by the office of FLC. bc it has an r rating - drugs, sex killing (pretty much sounds like what youd see out on a standard fri night in nrthbridge really).

they dont allow vid games with an R rating at all bc they think younger kids are more likly to play. the actual average age of gamers is inbetween 22-26! but -

but by them banning it im just more desperate to download it, import it from the U.S and get my hands on it any otherway.

there has already been thousands and thousands of copies sold and by making it controversial - your just gona purely up the demand!

*Sigh* This shit again...

I think if someone is that mentally fucked to do such thing, taking gta out of the equation, he would've done it anyway and would blame something else.

Who is any governmet to say what you can play or not.... sigh.
