Yeah I found out about bumps on freeway nearly hard lesson with the faker shaker. Empty freeway at 140 mile per hour hit bump under Hutton st overpass near put it on its roof with its arse bouncing all over the show. Took to the pedestrian walkover to get it under control but that's what you get with that speed an a 1971 suspension set up. Most modern cars would handle these at a doddle now. Yes I know was the wrong thing to do but he's not the only one to fracture the law.

Yeah I passed one at 4:15am last Friday. On Kwinana under Beeliar drive I think. Didn't register what I saw until afterwards.

Speed camera operator called it in to Police who picked him up further down the Freeway.

AN 18-year-old man will have his car seized today under hoon laws after he was allegedly clocked driving at almost double the speed limit on the Kwinana Freeway this morning.

Police will allege the 18-year-old was clocked driving at 183km/h by a speed camera on the freeway in Jandakot about 4.40am driving his Subaru WRX.

Duty Inspector Russell August says police intercepted the teenager shortly after he went through the speed camera near Berrigan Drive.

He will be charged with reckless driving and will have his car seized for 28 days under hoon laws.

He got done speeding, and should cop a penalty. Can't see any reason to impound his car though.
Wasn't the original idea behind impounding cars to stop repeat offenders that had lost their licence and still drove?
