    !@#$ing SCREWS on the road...

as the title says... screws on the road... FFS

my back tyre only done say 1000+kms and then i drop by at a mates house and hear a hissing sound... thought it was the sprinklers but no fucking sprinkler was on... and there u have it a fucking screw in my back tyre... somehow i got it home no problem, hissing stopped and the pressure was rideable... handling was a bit fucked up riding with a screw in your back tyre

can it be easily fixed? or must i get a new tyre?

This happened to me on Thurs night. It was glass though not a screw. My tyre was 2 months old. I thought I was stuffed but the guys at Tyres 4 Bikes plugged it for me. I believe it cost me $60 to have done. It took about 30-45mins.

Bugger that it's on a weekend for you. I'm guessing

Get it plugged, this will save you heaps of money, cos your tyre should last for another 5,000 plus kms

Had a nail in tyre and first bike repair shop refused to fill it...said it was unsafe.
Second bike shop did the repair ..cost 60 bucks.
Had no problems with tyre since.

I went to Vic Park - Tyres 4 Bikes. Don't know how far sor your talking.
I had put a tin of tyre inflater gooey stuff in there to get me home and then to the tyre shop in the morning. they don't really like the can of shit in there but it did the job. (It was glass and a piece was still in the tyre, Peter cut his finger doing it. SORRY PETER!!! )

with the nail still in the tyre think i can ride it to vic park? or not safe, i did ride it for 10 mins or so getting it home, still had some lil bounce in it, and not really flat at all when i hop on

see what happens in the morning...

or take the nail out and find a trailer and get it there?

It really depends on how far you are from Vic Park, and how quickly the air is leaking.
Also, is T4B open on a Sunday?

Another option is to take the rear wheel off and just take that down.
