    125 2 stroke into ct110

    has this been done.. i cant seem to find anything on this conversion..

    I think i recall a site that had a Sachs Madass with a rs125 engine. Pretty pointless though.

    im bothering cause it seems noone has done it.. and would like to see a frame twist under the HEAP of power the 2 stroke 125 motor would put out..
    anyway im just after any info on this concept..

    If you're desperate to do it i'm sure it could be done - expect to have to fabricate some engine mounting brackets or something.... but i doubt you'll find any info on doing it by others who have tried.

    And yeah, the end result will likely be "oh, that's crap"...

    Yeah, it brings it up to 111cc and it uses more fuel and oil.

    I've contemplated it a few times. Well, many times. But I've never put any real thought or effort into making an attempt.

    Maybe the reason no one's done/written about it before is because of all the neigh-sayers telling them it's stupid and that there's a reason it hasn't been done before (yes vicious cycle).

    I say go for it. Sorry that my post didn't really help at all.
