I had one of these for my first bike, can you put up a pic as there arent many
around and could be the same one. Mine went pretty hard for an old girl, as for mods i would look at the suspension and brakes first.

also get a good set of tyres like pirelli super corsa 3's. Good tyres brakes and suspension is way better than power mods, youll love it.

Iam new at the whole bike building thing always been into cars but now bikes are getting me interested. What should i be looking at doing for brakes and suspension

Depends whats been done, Does it have braided lines or rubber ones?
being an old bike it may just need a freshen up (new good quality pads, shim disks)
change fluid also use a good quality fluid. Are the forks soft? Change fork oil and seals,
Get someone to setup the suspension for you and you will notice the difference, I dont think its my old bike cause mine was matt black and was pretty banged up.

iam pretty sure it has the rubber lines and new disc and pads and the suspension feels pretty stiff. But i was thinking of Rear sets and things like that iam a big bloke at 6ft5 so looking at the little things to make it a bit more comfortable for longer trips but also handle the corners
