94' Honda cbr600F2 very rough riding.

    Honda cbr600F2 1994.

Wasn't riden for a year but I have got a new battery with fresh oil and it does start well.
When I take off it stalls everytime but if I take off at higher rpm it will go but want to stall at lower rpm.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced bike mechanic who know their hondas that is NOR, I live in karrinyup and don't have a bike trailer. Ive been turned off by Rick gills by some mates on their services as it wasn't a good job and quite expensive pricing. They could have just been unlucky but I was hoping for somewhere closer and maybe cheaper.

Or any mech from psb that can help clean and balance the carbies for some quick cash or a carton.

I have cleaned a carby before in my Suzuki gsx250F which was dual carb and I ran into a few small issues and don't wanna go through that again with a quad carb this time.

    Cheers,
    James

.. search PSB for mobile mechanics, there are a few peeps recommend, Derek Ball is one that I reacall people seem to be happy with.

That being said check a few easy thing yourself. Bad fuel if its been sitting for a long while; drain tank, flush with good fuel & fill with fresh, then drain carby float bowls. Fuel filter could be blocked/collapsed; replace. Fuel tap, dismantle & clean, can get gummed up. Also make sure the rubber hoses are good.

It has bp98 fresh fuel, I thought it could be a fuel filter issue but I don't know how to locate it and all I found online was user manual rather than service manual. That's why I wanna get it looked at by someone with more experience..

Cheers heaps for the help though !!
I'll try grab hold of Damien, what's his user name here?

Does it idle well when cold? Do you have the problem when taking off when the bike is up to temp?

The problem is both, I always let it warm up a few minutes but I have let it reach wot before and no luck. Basically need to ride the clutch and over rev it to not let it stall, in other words it's 100% not rideable, not even to a workshop plus it's unregistered anyway so finding someone to help me prepare it for pits would be awesome.

Only need that issue sorted and new seat wrap/cover and that should be good to go, but there might be more small things that I might not know of.

Another one for Derek Ball, he did a major service on my 98 BB and balanced the carbs and seemed to be pretty knowledgeable on the subject
