Im looking at Wemoto for a new set of engine gaskets, and have the choice between Athena for £76, or NE for £52. The price difference doesnt bother me, I would just like to know if the Athena is going to be better, or if the NE is going to be shitty. I just want to buy the right set first time round. I dont know anything about either brand at this stage, and both seem to include the same parts.

The main difference I have found in aftermarket gaskets is in the head gaskets. Sometimes you get problems with cheaper ones blowing, but it really depends on the engine and how good the OEM gaskets are. Most other gaskets don't need to seal against much pressure so usually don't give any problems.
