I've got a couple of the rubber tipped ones you hold in if required.

Pity you didn't post this early enough for me to see cos I could have given them to the missus who works in Freo.

Compression test won't tell you much unless the motor is hot athough you can squirt some oil into the cylinder to help things along. Have you tired simply pulling the plugs turning the motor on the starter to clear the cylinders of any excess fuel/oil cleaning the plugs and trying to start it. If you do have low compression hopefully its just a head gasket.

Thats something I have never done on a multi cylinder bike - how do you do that?

1 at a time, or do you have to screw in 4 guages??

Sorry mate, I had a look here at work, but we've only got gauges threaded to suit the engines we work on, which are a little big larger than a babyblade engine . Looks like you've got some other offers tho. Good luck with it.
