get a volt meter and measure your 12V to the battery when the bike is running.. should be 13.8ish

if its less then maybe you have stator problems.

was guessing honda becuase there was electrics problems
I would take the battery to somewhere like battery world where they can test your battery for you

If the battery is stuffed, check the voltage at idle and when you give the bike a good rev.

If the voltage at the battery gets really high (ie 15+ V) then your regulator is stuffed. If it doesnt get above 12-13, then it might be your stator, but its probably still your regulator. If its about 14- 14.5V your reg should be fine and just replace the battery

Firstly , just to be sure, It is a gell battery i hope and not lead acid. Second, on the regulator the cable coming from the alternator has a tendency to get a hot joint at the regulator. The regulator is mounted on the right near your rear brake resorvoir. Check the wiring for disclouration and fix the terminals i there is an issue.

as stated, you should have about 13.8 - 14.0 volts at about 3000rpm
