Black Fairing bolts and plastic doo-hickey's

    Hey Guys,

Where is the best place to buy some black anodised hex bolts to replace the standard fairing bolts? Do Coventries and all those places do them? I'd rather it was a local supplier as I dont want to wait for ebay deliveries, and I only want certain items anyway.

I'm also chasing some of those black push and lock type plastic fastners that are dotted around certain areas of the fairings. You know, the ones that always disintigrate when you unscrew and try to pull them out!

    Cheers
    Alex

    Pro-Bolt Australia

I don't think Coles or Bunnings have them.

Yeah they dont fit too well. As in one of my threads try an automotive trimming shop or the like. I just ordered mine from Suzuki... Nothing fits like OEM.

EDIT: I re-read you have a CBR - why not give a Honda dealership like Rick Gill a call?

I wanted OEM plastic/rubber fasteners for my R1 & after ringing around, I found the Yamaha dealership at Midland very helpful. You can pick any OEM part off a schematic and they'll get in for you without fuss and minimal cost. Saves trawling the wreckers.

Also some of the reliable US websites like morepowerracing and cycleaddiction usually have coloured bolt kits you can buy if you want OEM fit & like your bling. You could try ratedr locally as well?

OEM for these always! aftermarket are never quite right in my experience.
