    Cobra 2000FI

I have just installed the cobra 2000 FI into my C 50, install was easy and had no problems, all test lights come on as they should and bike runs like a dream. Only thing is once I get into 3rd gear the FI light come on, bike still runs sweet. Any ideas on what's the problem.

you need to check the fault codes and see what brought on the FI light. coulda affected something while you were installing it, could be running too rich at that point and logging it as a fault, could be seeing some feedback on the injector signals and be reading an injector fault. Check the fault codes yourself or take her into the shop and get them to plug it in and check for you.

oh, the other thing would be, what was your reason for installing it in the first place? air cleaner, exhaust? those could potentially throw a code as well. try the paperclip thing and find what the code means

Tryed the paper clip thing to get the codes and it comes up C00, which means no errors. I put cobra street pipes on so i fitted the cobra 2000R as well. Havent changed the air intake as yet. Bike does seem to smell a bit rich.
