What advice do you want? At the moment all you've said is you want an Iridium Blue screen.
The questions you need to ask.
Does the current screen design make it uncomfortable for me to ride the bike because of where the wind is being deflected to (Head, neck, chest?) If there is no discomfort, and all you want is it to be iridium blue, go for a standard screen design.
Double Bubble screens are mainly designed to allow wind to be deflected over you when you are completely crouched down over the tank. In normal riding conditions for the average height rider, it actually deflects the wind onto your helmet or neck, which for longer rides, becomes extremely uncomfortable as you don't get as much a chance to relax.
Are you asking about the quality of the Airblade racing screens? I've never heard of them. I've heard of Powerbronz, Puig, ZeroGravity, Eagle Screens, and a few others. Personally I'd recommend either Powerbronze, Puig or ZeroGravity screens. I'm pretty sure Powerbronze do a Iridium screen as well. Powerbronze \\\ The Official UK Site or the Australian Distributor Powerbronze.com.au - Home Page
Hope you manage to find one that fulfills all your needs.

That's pretty much the advice I'm looking for FZR. I find the current screen is difficult to tuck under. Average rider height you say? I'm a shade over 6 foot is that average, slightly above, slightly below?
Basically I'm looking for names and referalls (sp?). Something else that I've found hard to locate are pictures of the screen I want on my bike to see how it would look. Also, what should I be looking for in a screen? Thickness, composition and as you mentioned, what shape? I'm just assuming double bubble coz that's the screen that everyone upgrades to.
And lets not kid around...I also want it for the look!
thanks for the link, will check 'em out.

i find double bubble screens make the bikes front end look disproportionate.
Having said that, I also find it quite hard tucking my head under the stock screen, so maybe a db screen is the way to go.
Edit: just read the "advice" response. Wind being deflected into the neck sounds very annoying.

Yeah double bubbles don't quite have the smooth flowing look/lines of a stock screen on sports bikes.

Really? I always thought it makes them look nicer and sportier! Strokes and blokes I guess...
The powerbronze one sounds really good, but pretty pricey...not that I mind paying for quality tho!

Might be hard
Considering what screen to get for the new bike... Had a double bubble on the 600 but don't know if I want one again.... Looking at Hotbodies screens they seem to have a low profile DB screen, for those that way inclined.

The problem I'm having is finding out what it looks like on the actual bike. There are lots of Iridium screen around, but they're all pictured on black R1's so I can't tell what it would look like on my bike!
Powerbronze
Hotbodies
Eagle Screens
Wish I could wander down to Eagle screens...

I just bought a tinted screen for my bike from Eagle Screens.
If you make an enquiry on their website www.eaglescreens.com.au they will send you an email back with pictures of all the types of screens they can do.
