    Forma boots.

eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d

Ive been looking at riding boots. Id love some Sidis', and i can buy them as i have the money, however, im trying to find out the difference between these and some sidis'. Why pay $300-400 for sidis' when these are just as viable? Or are they? Who has had some experience with these and what kind of quality do they offer? Otherwise ill just put a sock in it and hitup dale brittons for some boot shopping

    Thanks guys/gals

Cool beans ill have to keep an eye out. My mate picked some up the other day for about $179 to his door. Only thing is hes only worn them once so theres no real long term feed back!

    Thanks!

I don't know if this applies to all of the range , but bought the missus a set a while ago to get her started. They are a narrow boot , so it might be worth getting a 'cross toes' measurement beforehand.

She grabbed a set of AStars from Chevster and they fit much better , with more toe room...

Thanks for the heads up, I'll hold off.. I'm a widey. Price is great though.. hmm. Compared to anything I can find retail in Perth these are a steal. But boots are something I need to try on up front.

Ebay sellers are generally pretty keen , so measure up your cross the knuckles on your hoofs and get them to measure up before sending. Pay by PayPal and you are fully covered, as they favour the buyer [the bloke who does the paying and pays their wages with fees] in about 99% of the time.

Keeps the sellers on their toes trust me!

If you're thinking of Ebay maybe take these into consideration as well:

    Bikers Gear Australia

I've purchased gear from them (not boots yet although sorely tempted) and its been pretty decent stuff!

There was a touring boot review in the latest AMCN magazine.
They reviewed a pair of Forma boots... Cannot recall which model tho.
Might help to try and dig up one of the magazines. It got an ok (middle of the range) rating from memory, but obviously not as good rating as Astars, Dainese etc.

I've had a pair of Forma Adventures for about 6 months now and I love them. I can wear them on a dirt bike or a street bike, comfortable to wear all day and walk or even hike in. Water proof to above the ankles.
I've covered them in mud many times and they always scrub up good. Had a 20-30km/h lowside and they came out with minor damage.

They're my first proper riding boots and I paid $400 for them, so I'm bloody glad they've survived so far.

I've got the Diablo's and apart from the velcro straps being not quite long enough to properly wrap around my cankles they're great.
